Batteries dead after guage install.

OK I am new to posting on this site. I am mainly on FTE. I have been reading a lot on here and plan to be browsing this site more. I installed my autometer guages last night and used the customer access wire for power and the blue with red tracer for illumination. I got them installed and cranked the truck up last night and took it around the block to test the guages. I came home and parked it. I went out this afternoon to get lunch and the batteries were dead. I cannot figure out what happened. I did notice last night when I took it around the block that the illumination lights behind the headlight switch were not on. I turned the lights off manually and turned them back on and they wroked. Any help on figuring out what happened to my batteries last night would be appreciated. thanks

I got the batteries up some and did some testing. I found there to be .16VDC on the customer access power supply at the guage. I pulled the fuse and tested and there was nothing. I tested at the fuse with the fuse out and I have .16VDC before the fuse. I do not know why this low pull would kill the batteries. I leave my sat radio, radar detector on and my flashlight charging all the time and this has never happened uless I do not run it for a week. The batteries are fine and have not had any issues out of them. Where is this small voltage coming from and why???????? Does anyone have a wiring diagram to possiably trace the access wire to look for chaffing. thanks.
