Best Years for 6.0

As my truck was stolen last week I will likely be in the market for a new truck. 7.3s are becoming more rare and there are a couple nice 05-6.0's for sale, so I am curious if there are better and worse years for 6.0l trucks? Thanks

I have had good luck with my 05. One turbo and leaky cac hoses which can happen with any year. If you find a clean one that has had the stc fitting changed that would help. That in my opinion is the weakest part of the 05. If you find one that has a coolant filter already installed that is a definite plus.

STC (Snap To Connect) fitting on the HPOP (High Pressure Oil Pump). They are known to blow; and when they do, you'll get a no start condition due to the injectors not receiving an adequate supply of high pressure oil as read by the ICP (Injector Control Pressure) sensor.
