6.0L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2003-Up Super-Duties and Excursions. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Please confine discussion of topics in this forum to those items that are specific to the 6.0L Power Stroke engine.

BG Diesel additives?

Anyone ever use BG diesel products? If so any good comments? Bad comments?

Crazy, not sure who BG products is... guess I'll plug it in google and see what I learn.
Only* thing I add to my fuel is 16OZ of outboard motor oil for every 30 gal diesel. I noticed quieter operation immediatly. Took my wife a while, finally she asked if I had done someting to the truck as it runs quiter inside. Only reason I'm doin it is after reading /research is to help boost whatever lubricity is left in the ULS fuel.
* when it get s down in the low single digits I'll add Power Service anti-get, CETANE booster in the white bottle.

BG - Barry Grant? Big in drag racing circles, not well known outside of that. But, I didn't know they did any additives.

In Virginia BG products are very big here. They sell intake cleaners, trans flush kits, oil additives ect. BG Company · Cached Try this web site and click on diesel products.
