The BG is a cleaner/additive they put in w/a tranny flush.I believe the internal filter is a metal screen that only need to be replaced after so many miles, say 100k.The external filter is the on that looks like a litle roll of toilet paper and the manual says to change this filter every 30k miles.

SO I SUPPOSE IF THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE FILTERS THEY DID NOT CHANGE THEM DO YOU HAVE TO DRAIN THE FLUID TO CHANGE THE EXTERNAL FILTER (THE ROLL FILTER)

Try every 15,000 miles. The internal stops trees and boulders and needs to be replaced during a tranny rebuild. tranny needs a flush every 30,000 miles

You don't have to drain the fluid to replace the external filter.Just loosen the housing and replacethe filter you lose about 8oz. of fluid.

Go ahead and change your ext. tranny filter every 30,000 if you like. It's your tranny and your money.

Not trying to argue! The 6.0 and torqueshift can be a dynamite drive train. They do however require proper maintenance and will let you know if you don't do it. That reminder can be very expensive.

I agree 100%.More people would have less problems if they did follow their maintenence correctly.
