Block heater

Is it true that all 06, 6 liter powerstroke engines already have a block heater installed and all I need to do is get a cord? I purchased my F350 in Florida and since I could not find a cord, I assumed that there was no heater installed. Too cold to start yesterday so I need to do something.

Thanks for any response.

It's true that all 6.0's have the heater element, but starting in 2005 the cord became optional.
It plugs in just above the starter. If you don't have it, I've seen them on eBay for $29.00 new.
