block heater

ok guys i just picked up my first deisel ever its an 03 6.0 75,000miles my first question is where is the plug for engine block heater. anything else i should know or anyone wants to say please im all ears

You likely do not have a cord. It comes standard only in a few states. If you can find the window sticker take a look to see if the previous owner order it. It they did then it will be around the passenger side tow hook. If it does not have the cord then you will need to install one yourself. You can get the cord from any heavy truck shop or off ebay. The one for the dodge cummins will fix the psd just fine. Diesel Technician Society

the original window sticker just says "engine block heater" under optional equipment.

i just found it thanks i read somewhere on here it was by the drivers side tow hook but your info rock doctor stated passanger side which is correct thanks!
