Blue Hose on Turbo blown off!

While I was driving down the road towing a trailer the blue rubber hose on the turbo blew off. I pulled over and reattached it but it is so old and stretched out it won't stay on the turbo. The engine still runs but it make a lot of noise. How bad does this hurt the engine if I run it to get it to the dealer. I'm traveling with my family on a camping trip. Trying to make the best of it. Any help would be appreciated!

You will be way down on Power, And your motor will be getting unfiltered air.
I would get a new hose ASAP.

That has happened to me a couple of times out of town while towing. I used some of my wifes hairspray and sprayed inside the hose after cleaning all the oil out and then some on the turbo. It held until I got to a dealer the next day. Tech had a hard time getting it off. I did a CCV reroute and have a brace on it now. Has not come off since.

While the engine was running I stuck my hand in front of where the hose came off to see if it was an intake or exhaust. It was blowing air out so I assume it was an exhaust. How would it get unfiltered air if it is blowing out hot air?
Also, I have done a search on this site to try to figure out how to do a CCV reroute to air. Maybe I missed it but I don't know how to do that. Is there some place I can get that info on this site?

Thanks for your reply.

BD Power - Product: Crank Case Vent Filters

Here is one way to do the ccv reroute. If you do a search I am sure you will find cheap ways to do it. There are a lot of guys that fabricate it themselves.

I ended up building my own. I did a write-up on another site. I made a canister with a combination of filter media. Last thing I want is to fool with a CAC tube on the side of a freeway.
