Re: Boost Gauge Hookup

Easiest place is to T off the MAP. Refer to ITP's Install Sheet

I drilled/tapped the boost elbow.
Took about 10 min to remove the elbow,drill/tap the elbow and reinstall.

Re: Boost Gauge Hookup

I drilled and tapped the alum elbow going into the engine. Nice steady readings no flutter!

Re: Boost Gauge Hookup

I did the same thing. I did it because it was easy to remove and clean before I started the engine. Great results.

Re: Boost Gauge Hookup

Does the boost elbow have a gasket or an O-ring? Just curious when you remove it doesit ruin the gasket if it has one.
Thanks

Re: Boost Gauge Hookup

Army,

Did mine yesterday. Rubber O-Ring embedded into top of intake surface. Just clean the two surfaces and put back together.
