Does any senior Ford tech know if a catalytic converter from Nebraska is any different from the CA catalytic converter? By the way it is a 2003 F-250 with a 6.0 diesel.

I can't see Ford making a Ca. spedific cat. I would bet that it's the same one installed at the factory no matter what state the truck is bound for.

I would have to agree, The difference between the ca truck and the fed would most likely be in the fuel and egr programming.
