Buying Gold Coolant at the Ford Dealer Parts Dept.

How do I go to my local Ford dealer and buy a gallon of Gold colant for my 2006 6.0? Basically, how do I know they are giving me the right thing?

I'm about to add a coolant filter and I assume that I will need to add some coolant when I'm done.

Thanks for any help,
Brad

Just tell them that you need some Premium Gold Coolant, like this...Parts

I just installed a Dieselsite coolant filter also.Just make sure to use hose clamp pliers when you make your cuts and you'll be fine.I honestly only lost a dime sized drop of coolant.I've read some guys lost a ton and cannot understand why.Found these directions from another site and were a little better than the ones it came with.http://www.dfuser.com/Install%20Guid...filter_kit.pdf Good Luck.

Remember to cut the Ford stuff 50/50 with distilled water.
