Clear DTC in HEC display?

I set a 9318 (low battery voltage) DTC in my HEC this weekend. I have disconnected the battery to try and eliminate the code, but it remains when I reconnect. How long do you have to leave the batteries disconnected?

Re: Clear DTC in HEC display?

Ummmm.... if you disconnect the battery, the battery voltage "goes low". This will set your odometer code. I can only suggest reconnecting the battery and forgetting about odo codes altogether....

You will likely have an ABS code set due to the low volt condition.... the light will reset on it's own (though you will not know if another condition occurs while the light is on) or it can be reset with a capable scan tool.
