CLUTCH M/C LEAKING INTO THE CAB!!!!!

Just noticed it today...."wetness" on floormat. Upon further inspection, I could plainly see a drop on the rear of the clutch master cylinder. Pedal still works.....for now!!!!

Has anyone else had this problem with the 6.0 and 6-speed?

Re: CLUTCH M/C LEAKING INTO THE CAB!!!!!

My hydro boost went out on mine. It was leaking power steering fluid inside. Ruined a good pair of tennies .

Re: CLUTCH M/C LEAKING INTO THE CAB!!!!!

This concern isn't limited to the 6.0. With any of the hydraulic actuated clutches, the chance for a brake fluid leak into the cab is present. [censored] happens.

Have the concern addressed before you have lasting damage to the floormats or run into a condition that can cause transmission or clutch damage. It is becoming difficult to get warranty for things driven to destruction.

Re: CLUTCH M/C LEAKING INTO THE CAB!!!!!

Why the concern about a reprogram? In the early days, there were some "bad flashes" but Ford has a handle on the situation at this point.

We will always hear the vocal few who see the end of the world in everything that happens.

If it ever happens to mine, I'm glad I got the carpet delete option

Re: CLUTCH M/C LEAKING INTO THE CAB!!!!!

My truck runs great, just hope a new flash wont take that away nor my fuel milage.

Dumb question Grampy, but about how long would my truck be in the shop of a clutch master cylinder change? My truck is a worker and down time is $$$$$.
