Codes P2263 and P2623?

Code P2263 I have had this happen around 3 times lately. I looked on the code chart and here is what it said.

(P2263) Turbo/Super Charger System Performance / MAP hose sensor, CAC system leaks, Intake leaks, EP sensor, exhaust restriction , exhaust leaks.

Also had this code once (P2623) Injector Control Pressure Regulator Circuit/ IPR circuit failure / Open/grounded circuit, stuck IPR, Loose connection.

So in a nut shell what does this mean to me?

Re: Codes P2263 and P2623?

With regard to P2263, it sounds like this TSB may apply to you:

2003-05 Various Running Problems, Check Engine Light; New EBP Sensor:
Trucks built before 1-17-05 that exhibit buck/jerk, hesitation, lack of power, stalling, stumble, black smoke, surging, rolling idle, changes in engine sound at idle or when driving at a steady speed, or with the trouble codes P2263 or P0299, may have an exhaust backpressure sensor signal that is incorrect or erratic. A revised EBP sensor is available if this is found to be the case. Part number 4C3Z-9J460-A. (edited and paraphrased).

As for the P2623, it sounds to me like you are suffering from the chaffed wiring harness issue. IIRC, the IPR wiring was in the harness that was chafing.

2003 Toreador Red/Arizona Beige CC, DRW, Lariat, FX4, 6.0 PSD, Torqshift, born early Feb. 03; AIC; Silverline turbo-back dual exhaust; 155cc injectors from Full Force Diesel (Casserly); SCT with tuning by Tony Wildman (Total Diesel Performance) & Innovative Diesel; ARP studs; Dfuser regulated return; AFE PG7; Fumoto valve; B&W hitch, Di-Pricol gauges; DIESELSITE Coolant filter; Timbrens; Rancho RSXs; Michelin XPS Traction's; a whole bunch of "bling"; Connex 4300hp; Pioneer DEH6100BT; JL Audio 275w amp driving a 12" sub; JL Audio 50wx4 amp driving the Alpine door and rear seat speakers. 380.3hp/786.7ft-lbs (on my tow tune!)
