Cold weather 6.0 "Turbo Loss"

So in the winter i had an issue which seemed like it was actually getting too much cold air but that just sounds stupid. Even with my 30' enclosed snowmobile trailer hooked on, it seemed like the turbo just faded away, and didt have any boost, then when i got into the throttle it seemed to spool back up after a while. Even just everyday driving it would do this, except when i ran a front end cover. When i was pulling the trailer one 35 below morning, i felt my intercooler lines and they were actually to cold to touch. I have a k&n intake, 5" straight exhaust, with 4" downpipe, accufab intake elbow, and at the time i was running the edge mileage max, i am now running the edge ez. Has anyone ever had the same issue? what could be my problem. Thanks

I am wondering if the vgt veins are dirty and when cold they stick. I do know there are quite a few cases of the dealers just cleaning the turbos to bring them back to life. It would make sense, you get on it and it heats up the soot...

I'm having the same issue...below -15°F the turbo veins seem to stick, but above that temp it works fine. I pulled the turbo out and cleaned it, but when the temp drops below -15 the turbo acts up again.
