Cooling fan

With the hood up, I can see the cooling fan spinning on cold start ups and it spins constantly I think. The heat/ac is off. It's not spinning very fast and roaring like it does on hot days under heavy load or with the AC on. Is this normal? Thanks, Dave

Normal stuff. You try to make a 26" fan with a roughly 3" pitch quiet above 1500 rpm or so, without compromising airflow. If you can, let me know and I'll put you in touch with the supplier, who will probably pay you for the patent rights...
