Dead Peadal & Turbo Flutter Fix

I was heading out of town for work last week when i started to get the dreaded dead peadal.also every time my turbo would flutter it would blow out black smoke!!I noticed this to be a problem here on this site,so i wanted to share the fix for all you frustrated 6.0 owners.I took it to the first dealer i could find, which happend to be Stark ford in Florida. They hooked it up to thier computer and it showed a bad VGT sensor,so they replaced it and i paid my $107.00 for the deductible because i was over 36000 miles, but when this all started i was under 36000 but of course they could not get the truck to duplicate the problem!!I got about up to Jacksonville Florida when it started to get worse!!! I called Stark ford and they told me to go to Duvall ford in Jacksonville and maybe they could help me.I get there @ 5pm and they were leaving so i spent the night, got there first thing in the morning, they ran a test and it came back bad EGR so they replaced it.Paid my $107.00 deductible and i also tipped both techs $20.00 each.Got to georgia and it starts to happen again I happened to come across a Big truck company called Roberts truck repair, they were also a ford service center. The guy there told me that a ford rep had just come in this morning to give him a flash for this exact problem He hooked me up and put this flash in #367A12A650ATE he told me to go down the road and if it works just keep going, and that i did. That was the only time it cost me nothing and i never got to tip that guy.So far so good i have driven about 2000 miles home from my trip and the truck runs awesome. The only thing was that the tranny had to learn the shift patterns again and that took about 200 miles and she was back to normal.Sorry for the rant i hope this helps you guys and gals out there with this similar problem. Now if they can only get my truck to stop leaking i will be happy .
