Degas Bottle Puking & Radiator Spewing (any ideas?)

Hey guys; got home last night and noticed steam coming from under the hood. Took a look and the radiator is spewing on top where the full length plastic cap meets the aluminum… also noticed the Degas Bottle was puking…(photos attached) seams like a lot of pressure to create this scenario. All of the temp gauges were normal so doesn’t appear to be over heating. Could this be the start of the dreaded “dare I say it” head gasket failure or egr cooler??? Anyone have any other ideas? I haven’t had to add any coolant since the coolant flush at 120k miles and there doesn’t appear to be any coolant in the oil.

She’s an 03 X 6.0 with 170k miles. Only mods to the drive train are 8” lift, 35x13.50 tires, & 4” BD exhaust from turbo back, even still has the factory air intake...haha. Seen light towing in her early days but nothing in the last 3 years except the occasional pull someone out of the mud. Only issues in the past were injectors, 2 egr’s, exhaust back pressure sensor, oil pressure sensor, multiple alternators, and some other sensors I can’t think of at the moment however nothing major to the motor (knocking on wood).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and also if anyone knows of a replacement radiator that is 100% aluminum without the plastic end caps please let me know.

Thanks,
JR

well...thi9s is a common thing with the 6.0s,if you search the forum youll find a whol list of things...from replacing dgas cap to egr to head gaskets.so do a search read alot and start there.unfortunately the 6.0s have a history of hg problems...hopefully yours are ok,good luck

im curious though if your rad is leaking too,id imagine it would take alot of pressure to make it split, and of course thats not good.
