Draining or FLushing Power Steering FLuid.... HOW ?

What would be the best way to flush or drian the power steering fluid in the system ?

I don't think there is any kind of flushing that can be done. When I did mine I used a turkey baster to suck out as much fluid as I could and then refilled it with new fluid. I don't know how much was left in the system but figured it was better than nothing.

Remove th top line from the power steering cooler. Let it drain. Place a line on the cooler end and direct it to a container. Start the engine and add fluid to the res. Pump the brake pedal and then add more fluid. Do this 2 or 3 times. You will have all clean fluid.

I also added a Magnefine inline filter to mine. What a diff. it has made to keeping the fluid clean. I also used Mercon V syn. fluid.

What is the recommended fluid for the power steering?

Book specs regular MD-3, but Mercon V or SP is a good step up (synthetic).
