Draining fuel tank

Been having problems with water in fuel. 04 250 4wd ExtCab about 27000 miles. Have changed filters several times and used the drain on the HCFM. Am thinking about completely draining the tank and dumping a few gallons of fresh fuel through it. Any suggestions on the best and easiest way to completly drain the tank.
Thanks John

Re: Draining fuel tank

Hold up on that draining... there's known issues with the WIF sensor on the HFCM. Drain the water seperator into a plixglass bottle and let it sit for awhile. If there's that much water, you should be able to see it seperate out.

While you're waiting read the WIF Won't go Away TSB

Would this be a warranty issue?
