Question dually rear axle

Ive got an '03 4wd crew cab dually and had a problem ordering wheel bearings and seals.I ordered them for a Dana 80 off Rockauto.com,it said they were for the drw trucks.Prob is I recieved the parts and compared them to what was in the rear hub and they absolutely dwarf whats in there.I was wondering what rear axle they actually have?Luckily I compared the parts b4 I tore it all apart. It has the ID tag on the lower left of the diff cover just like the manual says the Dana axle should have.Any help greatly appreciated

Bearings

I had a similar problem with my truck. I couldnt figure out what the correct bearing part number was. I ended up having to revisit the dealer until i found a bearing that would work. I cant find the paperwork associated with this, but i remember the axle part number being a Dana R135 or something odd like that. I haope that helps a little.

i thought that the rear axle on the f350 was a dana70. i may be wrong but that would explain the difference in girth of parts

99 up F350 duallies have Dana 80 but it is unique and has larger bearings at hubs than Dana 80 Dodge and GM applications.
If Rock Auto has a universal Dana 80 parts guide then it will not be correct for Fords.

99-04 should be a danna 80 with a 170mm center.......05 up has 200mm centers. Found this out when doing my rear axle bearing service as well as getting info on my future 19.5rims

write the axle code down off the door sticker or the tag number on the rear diff or the vin number and goto the dealer, i have never had a problem getting bearings at work.
