6.0L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2003-Up Super-Duties and Excursions. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Please confine discussion of topics in this forum to those items that are specific to the 6.0L Power Stroke engine.

EGR

Hi all, looking for a place to buy a egr @ a good price,also is there a difference between the old and the new egr's thanks CAD.

Sometimes Ebay has them. EGR was changed for 2005. I would tell you to just unplug it or to buy a new EGR and, while leaving the old one in place, leave the new one fastened to the engine somehow and plug into that, using it as a dummy. This works great for racing and off-road but is not legal for street usage in this configuration and I am not allowed to tell you to do this for street usage on this site. OKAY!!???
