I'm a little surprised that you lost noticeable fuel mileage.
When in Alaska I had one injector fail completely, and one intermittent. Way down on power, and running a little rough. But, for the 1200 miles it took to find a dealer with the parts and ability to help us the fuel economy was unchanged at 17-18 mpg.
And I could certainly tell when the 2nd injector quit working.

AC hose, 1 injector, Batteries not under warranty.
