Engine runs eratically
It's 80 deg plus. A beautiful day. You are driving down the freeway at 70. Everything is great. Suddenly the truck sputters, tries to quit, accelerates, sputters, sputters some more, accelerates, sputters, then smoothes out. No more problem.
You are backing up a long driveway. Suddenly the engine looses power then accelerates and, with a mind of it's own it flies up the driveway. You push in the clutch and hit the brakes, it sputters, smoothes out, you finish your drive.
You are driving down a residential street. Suddenly... sputter.... acceleration.... sputter-sputter.... smoothes out.
It only happens when the weather is warm.
The one time I got to the dealership as it was happening, and I was looking for some help, someone jumped in the cab and shut it off. "Sorry, can't confirm the problem."
It is very exciting!
Any ideas?
