Excessive engine repair advice requested
I have a 2005 F250 4WD 6.0. In Feb 09 I had the heads replaced at 113,000 miles, which cost 8,000 dollars out of pocket. In Aug 09 I had an injector and IPR replaced at 124,000 miles, which cost 2,000 dollars out of pocket. Now the vehicle is in the shop needing a HPP, IPR, and BPC. The total estimate is 2,800. I was told the IPR screen blew out because the HPP failed and therefore the IPR was not faulty and would not be covered. I still owe a substantial amount so trading it in isn't really an option. What is the problem with these vehicles? I have seen similar horror stories and amazed Ford hasn't had a class action brought against them. Anyway I am looking for any advice to help with the current repair situation.
