F-350 wont start

over a month ago my 06 350 wouldnt start it was intermittant problem It turned over great. I towed to ford and said sounds like HPOP they called said nope it is your fuel control Module and your dependable warranty wont' cover it so I paid 1000.00 fix it guess what it happened again truck wont' start picks and chooses it's days towed to ford house again they say this time it is the STC Fitting, IPR valve, and the LH/RH side port plugs (all to do with HPOP)my little dependable warrenty again says oh we don't cover that ford house says it is 1800.00 HELPPPPP I am not scared of tackling my own mechanical work I have recoiled my spark plug holes in my F150 I helped rebuild my mustang motor but I have never touched a diesel engine I really don't mind but at this point I am broke.

Check the CPS (cam position sensor), does your tech register any RPMs when you crank it? If not there you go. That used to be a common problem in the earlier years and it acts like you described plus it is an easy fix.

Yes they have checked the CPS I need to know how I can fix these issues myself. is it really as hard as I have read on some of these forums to change the IPR valve. I mean I took this to a Ford Dealership I told them what was wrong and they did't listen now they want twice as much more money so I have to do it myself. I am a blonde female does that explain why I am looking for help. I jus need to know my best way to make these repairs other than leaving it with Ford

In your owners manual there is a 1-800 number to call when you have an issue, and I think you have an issue here as the warranty should cover that.
Several years ago I had a fuel leak on my 97 and had about a year left on the warranty, It got covered. You may try another dealer.
