F350 Dually MPG

Is 10 mpg the norm with these trucks? I have the 4:30 gears, and am setting the cruise control at 65 mph which seems to be the best way to maintain speed as even in hwy gear it wants to slow itself down. I'm light on the pedal during takeoff, and driving for mileage.
I've got an 07 Cummins 3500 single rear wheel with 3:73 and oversize tires, and can run 70 mph all day long at 1700RPM, and it gets 17 mpg like clockwork.

What are you guys seeing for fuel mileage, and what is the tallest tire I can run on a stock dually to streach out the 4:30 gears?

I have heard people claim 15-17 MPG with the setup you have except with 4.10 gears. Remember your Ford is much heavier then the Dodge and with your taller tires your running around a 3.50 ratio.

Are you towing or empty?

I get 9-10, usually closer to 9 with my 32' TT. Don't drive empty very often, but when I have it's around 15-16. Towing numbers are calculated, empty nubers are from dash.

Empty, 65 mph 2200 rpm. Computer says 10.4 mpg. I either need taller tires, or higher gears.

Anybody want to trade 4:30 ls for 3:73 ls?????
