6.0L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2003-Up Super-Duties and Excursions. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Please confine discussion of topics in this forum to those items that are specific to the 6.0L Power Stroke engine.

bgarfield Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Posts: 5 iTrader: (0) My Photos: (0)	Fear of '08 6.0? New possible owner here. Have the opportunity to buy a new (400 mile) '08 E350 6.0. Obviously I've been reading about the issues, but I haven't seen anywhere that they were solved as the years passed. Should I have any fear, or expect to make modifications to an '08 6.0 for reliable driving? This vehicle will be bought to regularly pull 4000lbs and have a conversion (SMB-2wd) done to it. Also, since I'm already here asking, what's the latest with offerings of extended warranty/should I get it? Thoughts? Thanks, Brian
