i'm wondering if it is casting sand or actually corrosion? Since the mad rush to send out the coolant maintenance letter and the fact they were having the dealers have the customers sign letters stating they know about the new maintenance rules or warranty will be voided. I wonder if they realized it was corrosion and/or cavitation that was doing in the egr or oil coolers? Can you even have cavitation outside of the engine???? I really wonder what generated the panic to update???
