why? towing, or dyno, or fuel mileage??

ID has a dyno only tune.. you have to drive the truck onto the dyno and then load the tune and then run the truck..

Because when I tow my 5th wheel on flat ground it will only pull it in 4th gear and I only get 4.8mpg. I think I have it figured out though. I did the tc lock mod and when you lock it up it's pretty hard to get it to downshift. I will know next week when I pull it again on a 200 mile trip. Did a little test run yesterday and it seemed to work great.

duner..maybe MK will chime in. Geez..4.8mpg..how fast you going? Does mod totally prevent downshift..if so..could that cause more stress on tranny?

Anyhow..update later if you can. Good luck!
