Glad I picked up the ESP on my '05. $1,550 for 5 years/100K miles bumper to bumper w/ $100 deductible. Looks like they were loosing money on the deal so they killed it. I win for a change. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]

I'm pretty sure someone said in another thread that the EMP is an Extended Maintenance Plan...as opposed to an Extended Service Plan (warranty)

Yes, I assumed that Maintenence was in the middle of EMP, but what are the changes?

I'm asking the Ford guys to explain what is lost, or what is gained.

All this talk made me paranoid, so I went and pulled my paperwork. I got jipped! I don't have the Ford ESP, I have TotalCare from EasyCare. The dealership I bought my truck from completely gave me the impression that I was buying a Ford warranty. I know that I asked if it was an extension of the Ford warranty and I was told yes. I am pissed now. *** to do now. I guess I let my guard down for 10 seconds too long and didn’t read the document closely enough. If I had know it wasn’t a Ford warranty I would have either passed, or at least negotiated on the price. I just assumed that since I was buying a new Ford truck from a Ford truck only dealership (Truck City Ford), I was getting a genuine Ford warranty. I just ordered an 05 F350 PSD last week and I was quoted ~3800 for ESP and ~3000 for EMP for 7yr/100K. Is there anywhere on the web to get the ford warranty at a wholesale rate?

I did not buy it at that time, but he quoted a good price and seem to be a legitamite dealer.
