Re: fuel aditive??

Power Service Diesel Kleen. Find it cheapest at Walmart. If your winter temperatures are cold enough, switch to Power Service Diesel Supplement in the winter (it has an anti-gelling additive).

Re: fuel aditive??

Every gallon of fuel that I have burned has been treated with Power Service Diesel Kleen. Does it make a difference -- from an engineering standpoint the added lubricity and cetane are good for the engine and injectors. The truck has almost 50K miles on it with no fuel related engine problems. It also creates a less hospitable environment for algae to grow in the 105 gallon service tank in the bed of the truck.

Re: fuel aditive??

I've run Stanadyne until recently when I ran out and bought a couple bottles of the Ford additive from the dealership. Have not noticed a difference btw the two as far as performance or fuel mileage.

Re: fuel aditive??

We have several International trucks with DT 466's and 2 ford 6.0's and since we have been running Stanadyne We have had no fuel related proplems. And my operators can tell a difference in power and fuel economy.

Same here in Memphis TN. Went on Diesel Kleen's web site. Found out that it can still be purchased at Tractor Supply Co. Walmart said they temporarily pulled it because of the label not meeting the new ULSD requirements. According to Diesel Kleen, the additive itself is ULSD compliant, it is just the label does not say anything relating to being compliant.

At TSC, I pay the same (give or take 10 cents) as I did at Wally World.

Re: fuel aditive??

We already went through this mickey mouse circus in Texas and my local Walmarts are now again stocking the Diesel Kleen with the new ULSD compliance label. You should have it back on the shelves in the near future.

Re: fuel aditive??

That's easy....

Go to: www.shopdiesel.com

They have it in stock and it's been on "sale" for about two or three months for $55.00 per case of 12 bottles.

Each bottle treats 60 Gallons of fuel,

So that means, Hmmm... let me think....

Uhhh, about $0.0763333333 per Gallon. (can you say: CHEAP INSURANCE)

Oh Yea, While your there, may as well check on their Racor Fuel Filters and Oil Filters too...

Place an order for over a hundred bucks and get one of their new ShopDiesel.com T-Shirts for FREE!

I've got three of them and two Diesel drivin buddies want me to give em one?
