Re: fuel aditive??

Ford has a Cetane Boost for around $6 for a bottle that treats 125 gallons. The part number is PM-17-A. Works great.

Re: fuel aditive??

John deer carries a summer and winter addictive that I use when I ran out of the stanadyne all season performance product. It is the exact same addictive after my research as stanadyne. It has all the lubtricahts, cetane , gel/water etc. I don't have all the details and product bar/scan # on me @ this time. Check your john dealer shelf nd/or sells person or contact stanadyne and they will verify information.

John Deer has Summer - Code #TY16233 (John Deer Summer Formula Premium Diesel Fuel Conditioner) and Winter - Code #TY16230 Winter Formula Premium etc.) I hope this helps.

Re: fuel aditive??

Hey, man- you want to save some cash? Buy 1 bottle of Stanadyne, keep the empty bottle for measuring purposes, buy a small funnel, then go to the website below, and order a 5-gallon pail of the stuff. It's alot cheaper that way.

Re: fuel aditive??

Power Service is still cheaper at $12.15 (Tractor Supply) or $12.96 (Walmart) per bottle that treats 300 gallons.

Re: fuel aditive??

ULSD is terrible as far as lubricity is concerned. A fuel treatment should be run with every tank. I've run Schaeffer's Diesel Treat 2000 since 10K on my truck...I now 118K on it.
