Fuel drain

I have a 2006 f250, I went to change the lower fuel filter the other day, and when I took out the drain plug to drain the fuel out of the module, the initial rush of fuel came out, then it slowed down but it would never stop running, It was just a very small steady stream coming out. Any ideas what could have caused this? I have never had this happen when I drained the module before. Thanks for any help.

It is fuel siphoning out of the fuel tank. No big deal. Just let the initial rush of fuel out, then plug it when you've collected a couple of cups...
