Fuel filter drain leaking
My truck was having a hard time starting the other morning. Loads of white smoke, and wouldn't fire up. I drained the fuel bowl and it fired right up. Yesterday, I noticed a pretty serious drip coming from the end of the drain pipe. The yellow drain is fully closed, but continues to drip enough that it has soaked the underside of my truck clear back to the rear diff from freeway driving.
Has anyone had a problem with the drain leaking? Do the drains on the fuel bowls eventually wear out and need replacing? I can't imagine this is too safe to drive it like this. Can you buy just the drain mechanism?
Thanks
