Fuel/Water Seperator Question???

On my HFCM, It appears that I do not have the lever that is under the unit to drain the water when needed. My manual says and shows a picture of the lever....not there!!!I have a PLUG on the face of the unit which uses a Allen wrench. Would this be correct???/ Anyone else out there experienced this???? Thanks in advance!!

Re: Fuel/Water Seperator Question???

I'm not sure about a lever, but yes, you unscrew the allen head plug and drain it. There is also a longer one available that I bought at one of the venders on this site that is a nice option. You can leave it in and just unscrew it.
It is in a pool location though. At least mine hits other lines when removing the seperator. Oh well. At least it works.

Re: Fuel/Water Separator Question???

I thought that someone reported this was an error in the owners manuals some time ago. I have never seen the picture in the manual but it is incorrect as there is no lever. I do know that a "lever" for the fuel water separator has returned for the 6.4L which I am sure will make many owners happy.
