4.30 gears unless the 37's are a stepping point for taller tires. The 4.30's will be better if you ever go bacl closer to stock and will give you a little more hiway speed in the rpm sweet spot

4.56s would be agreat fit but if you ever dropped down the tire size the RPMs will kill you on tjhe HWY.

Before you dump $2k on gears and fancy pantsy covers why not add a real HP gainer? Get rid of that HPyrjunk and use and SCT with a custom tune.

What else do you have for power gains?

I dumped the hyperjunk when i studded the heads and have just been running it stock with a MBRP straight piped 4 inch and a roush cold air kit everyone says the sct but i need someone who knows what there doing with the tunes and everybody has someone diffrent to tune it so iam a little lost and was just thinking of going with a banks six gun. The motor is basically brand new with the turbo, cooler, egr valve, heads, injectors and everyother little thing done at 45k and now only has 46 on it so iave been doing a little research on programmers adn diffrent people your input would help me to.

Don't do the six gun i have two buddies that blew their 6.0's on that honestly the sct would be your best bet but if you want something like the Banks Get the Bully dog Triple dog downloader its best for fords other then sct... And it has free downloads to keep everything up to date.... Im running stock gears with that and i have no problem with low end torque!!

Get a sct. Use cale at bts or go with innovative diesel and erics tunes. If for some reason you ever want a different kind of tune you will not be tied to just one guy writing files. That is what is nice about the sct. From what I have read those are the two top recomended tuners... I run some of spartans tunes since they are free

The low end was good at stock height with stock tires but the tires and the 3.73 gears just kill it now but it will still leave 200 foot marks

Thats a good choice... I still cant pull the power that the guys with SCT have... Something all you guys who get hard about outdoing a dodge might like...My buddy has a 05 cummins (Bigger turbo, injectors, intake, 5k dollar trans and fuel pump) Still has one hell of a time keeping up with an 06 6.0 With just the street tune and a Fass...

I am having the same dilemna with my 07. I'm running an 8" lift with 38" Toyos with an Edge but do not have the low end power with the stock 3.73LS. EGTs are close to astronomical if I put it under load on the highway. I don't tow often (next to none) but I want the best possible option for what I'm running. It's my daily driver (never off road) and some highway. What's your ideas guys. Who is running a 4.56 or 4.88 and can give me some feedback?
