Getting truck tuned in Atlanta. What do you think??

I am getting my truck tuned in Atlanta at this special event.

http://www.modularfords.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=27853

What do you guys think of the Superchips Custom Tuning Diesel products??
I talked to the guy setting it up and he said a basic flash (single program) for a 6.0L truck is $250, and SCT's basic towing program would produce 375HP and 650 FT-lbs of torques on a stock truck. They said if I wanted to pay for Dyno time, I could get it on the Dyno to prove the numbers. They also said after I drove the truck that day, If I was not happy they would restore my truck's EEC back to stock and refund my money.
Sounds like a good deal, what do you guys think??

Re: Getting truck tuned in Atlanta. What do you think??

Talking to a friend and he recommended that I buy the Xcalibrator so that I can return my truck to stock for warranty work. Sounds like a good idea. Anyone else use the Xcalibrator?? Is it hard to use??
The thing I like about this deal, is I will be able to see if I like the product that day before I am stuck with it!!

Anyone else planning to bring their 6.0L trucks there to get them tuned and see how they perform, I feel like this a great opportunity. If you do not like the tune, just say so and get your money refunded. Nothing to loose is you are not happy with truck.

If it works its good. Hypertech will sell you a reprogrammer that plugs right into your diagnostic port. The advantage is that it will also store your stock settings for you and let you restore them when you go in for waranty work. It is more than $250 though. Hypertech has a good reputation and will give you about the same performance increase. I have used their stuff and its good.
