Any advice from ya'lls experience on good diesel tech's in Houston area dealerships? Will be making a purchase in next couple weeks and would like to know the best place for service and such-
SO FAR - I have had good luck with Mac Haik Ford (I10 & Gessner).
I even spoke to the Truck Shop manager before upgading my exhaust to be sure there would be no warrany issues. He's cool with mods "as long as they don't cause" a specific problem.

My wife bought her 'o2 F150 Screw from Champions Ford. It is too far for service. The one problem she had, dead battery, we took it to Tomball Ford. They did a good job and did it quikly. I was pleased.
I have bought a few autos from Joe Myres in Jersey Village. Been pleased with their service department.
I bought my last truck from Mak Hiek (as mentioned I10 and Gesner). I have had my truck back twice, once for lub, oil, and filter, the other to replace a vacume pump. For the pump, I walked 1/2 block to Fudrukers for a buger, it was done before I got back. The LOF was done before I had a chance to look at all the trucks.
Either Mac Haik or Tommy Vaughn. Don't go to Central.
I have used Mac Haik (for my gasser) and been pleased, but I visited with a tech at Tommy Vaughn and was VERY impressed with his customer service level. Everyone I meet at Tommy Vaughn acted very friendly and really wanted my business. The lead Diesel tech gave me his card and said to call him personally if I needed anything. I didn't feel the hard sell at all. So, I will take my business to Tommy Vaughn the next time I need service.
Tommy Vaughn is also a supporter of our local Mustang club and they race, so in my book they are good guys.
Another vote for Tommie Vaughn...have had my truck in their "big truck" shop a couple of times...always really helpful, always really friendly. I drive past 3 other dealerships and 30 minutes to get there.

Which dealership is it on I-59 out by Rosenberg, and are they any good?

That would be Dub Miller Ford. I can't really speak for any of the techs, but I know the SM there personally. He will get done what you need, as long as Ford will let him. I've taken my truck there twice. The first time was a pleasant experience. Basically all it needed was re-flashing. The second time that I took it in, I had 4 problems, all of which were documented on paper. I went into great detail about each problem and was later called that same day around 2:00 P.M. with one of their guys telling me that they could not duplicate ANY of the problems that I told them about. When I got there to pick it up, I actually showed the service rep. that called me one of the problems, and I got that really nice, "That's acceptable by Ford's standards" speech. I'm sorry, but it's not acceptable by my standards, and I'm the one that owns the truck...NOT Ford. As I've said in an earlier post, the service departments of any dealership should be the customer's advocate when fixing a truck, and in my opinion, they're not!!!
Oh, and just to let yall know...when I was shopping for this truck, they wanted over $100 more a month on payments than the dealership in East Bernard. Personally, I would think twice about going there. I have my 30,000 mile tranny service coming up, and I think I'm gonna take it to a dealership here around Houston (thanks for starting the thread), as I have some other small issues that need to be addressed before my 3/36,000 runs out.
I wouldn't be buying anything there. But it is close to where I often visit and just looking for a reference in case I need service when I'm down that way.
