Has anyone tried Hot Shot's Secret?

I would like to try this product, but would like to know the opinion of members of this forum. Has anyone tried Hot Shot's Secret?

The bottle states to use this product in place of two quarts of engine oil. Is this safe?

when I was looking for a chemical solution to stiction, all the reading I did on these forums left me with the impression that HSS is useless, and RevX is the only way to go. Then after that I've heard of some Archoil product, but have little info on it.

I do recommend RevX, having used it twice, but if something cheaper THAT WORKS is found, I'd be interested.

My mechanic and Amsoil have recommended and I have been using Amsoil Sabre Synthetic Outboard 2 stroke oil in the fuel tank at a 300-500 to 1 ratio. I have six 6.0s and have tried it in the last few months. My drivers think it is resulting in smoother running, better starting vehicles. We are using about 1/2 pint to 25 gallons of diesel.

This is based on the theory that there is not enough lubrication in the low sulphur diesel we're buying.

Has anyone tried Hot Shot's Secret?

My grandfather who is a diesel mechanic told me to use a little bit of ATF fluid in my fuel to combat stiction. When I had an issue I used a 1/4 to 1/2 pint in two consecutive tanks when filling up and it worked. I now put some in with fuel every 5 tanks or so as a preventative measure. I started this with about 80k on it and I now have 150k on it and it runs great.

Stiction is on the oil side, not the fuel side.

I've used it about 4-5 times, I've used REV-X 3 times, I'd go with REV-X

And yes, stiction is on the oil side, not the fuel side

I have used Hot Shot's Secret 3 times now and there was no noticeable difference with stiction with cold weather startups.

I then tried Archoil AR9100 and was amazed that it fixed the cold startup stiction issues quickly. Before trying the Archoil product I looked at Rev-x but the price point was a huge turnoff.

I wouldn't waste my money on any products from the company that makes Hot Shot's Secret. I think it is just another company with false claims.
