has there ever been a recall on head studs?

6.0L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2003-Up Super Duties and Excursions. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. OT Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2003 Location: Sparks, Nevada Posts: 3,706 My Photos: (8) Feedback Score: 0 reviews	As mentioned...navistar/fmc still use's TTY head bolts, not studs. Mine still ok. FWIW..stock 6L's can still blow h.g. from overboosting i.e. stuck t. blade's. Head studs are still aftmkt. parts. NOT oem. __________________ 03 F250 XLT SC/SB 4X4 6L (stock) A/T.
