HCFM cap needs replacing

I had my truck at the dealership and it was determined that the HCFM cap needed to be replaced. I was having issues removing and replacing it during a filter change. The dealership said the cost was $85 for the cap. Anyone know where I can find it cheaper?

Re: HCFM cap needs replacing

I would think at the International dealer. It's the same cap as used on the oil filter on the VT365. Getting them to figure out the part number and order you one could be interesting... I finally gave up after a year at my dealer, figuring I'd try harder if it ever really broke. I just wanted a spare so I'd have a clean cap with filter all ready to go when I took the old one out during oil changes.

Re: HCFM cap needs replacing

I would appreciate to know the International part number for this filter cap. If anyone has the number please post it here. Sounds like a good idea to have a spare ready to go.

Thanks.

Re: HCFM cap needs replacing

What is the number of this new flash that cycles the injectors? I have received nothing from Ford for my '03 6.0.
