Ford would have no problem with the repeat repair as long as the original repair was performed according to their procedure. But it wasn't...
And here's the real rub... The studs have proven to be better than the bolts - at least in my humble experience. And this tells me that there must be a concern with the way the studs were installed (this would be between the repairing dealer and the original poster) or that something has been conveniently left out of the truck description.

Gotta agree with that statement.... It looks to me like the problem needs to be addressed with the dealer that did the work, not Ford........

I just had ARP studs installed on my truck by a Ford Dealer under warranty. I am supposed to pick it up on Monday.
I will ask the mechanic if the heads were sent to a machine shop to be checked.
What is the current procedure dealers are to follow for head gasket repair under warranty on a 6.0? Are the heads supposed to be sent off to check for warping?

I don't know it for sure, but I suspect it would not be standard practice for dealerships to send parts to outside shops for work...... It's highly unlikely Ford is gonna pay for such things..... They are likely checked for warping in-house and if found to be warped, dealt with at that time (either machined or replaced).

Heads are checked for warpage with a straight edge and feeler gauges. Heads are never sent to a machine shop. If they are warped beyond specification, they are replaced. I have rarely seen a warped 6.0 head.
I posted in another thread that mine's in for head gaskets and bed plate. The tech told me that he's rarely seen a warped head, as well, and also that Ford has reported around 90% of warrantied heads reviewed are not bad.
I brought up the warping issue in discussion a couple times, and he said they follow the procedure for checking flatness.
He's willing to install studs, and I thought that would fix the problem for good. Now I found this thread....

I wonder what their definition of not bad is? If by not bad they mean repairable, then yes. But if they mean not warped, they either don't know how to check it, or their specs on what they call flat are pathetic.
