HELP!!! 6.0 Shifter works tranny dont

I have a 2003 f350 and last saturday i broke down because of a fuel pump. So
replaced fuel pump but now when you shift truck in to gear its just like its in neutral, you can press on the gas all ya want and all it does is rev the engine. Any one have any suggestions.

Check your wiring, i bet you knocked something loose at the trans and did not know it. Also check your fuses, i don't know if there is a trans fuse but maybe a computer fuse??? Good luck

Got truck over to friend yesterday. He put it on computer and computer says transmission is working. We also talked with many experienced people and no one has ever heard of this problem.

got truck back from shop torque converter imploded and took with it the front pump guy said it must of been making a whinning noise we never heard a sound. fixed and traded in on an 06 with warranty. lesson learned we got lucky with our 6.0 but dont be a fool after 100000 get an extra warrenty. 6.0 is not the best tranny.
