Help!!! I have goo!!!!

This is a new one for me. I have goo coming out of my coolant degas bottle. It's actually an oil-coolant emulsion but it definitely looks like goo just pouring out as the engine runs. It stops when I shut off the engine and I'm missing about a gallon of oil. So...my question... Is this a blown head gasket, broken oil cooler, or what? Anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
Andy - Stuck in Mississippi!!!

Could be either one. My OIL cooler went out and I had the sludge in the Degas bottle but it did not come out the cap.

Oil looks OK. I added a gallon and it seems to be holding - of corse I am only idling it trying to degrease the cooling system. When it happened, I was pulling a big 5th wheel. I noticed the cooling fan coming on more than usual but it was a little hilly. I was trying to take it easy on this motor since it hasn't been in all that long. We stopped for breakfast and I noticed oil on my running board. I pulled the hood and there was a nice waterfall of milky tan ooze coming out of the cap.

1. Replace oil cooler w/ heat exchanger service kit (3c3z-6a642-ca)
2. Replace all rubber hoses, degas bottle and cap
3. Replace thermostat
4. Sent radiator out to be cleaned at a radiator shop
5. Flush out the heater core and front cover with a garden hose
6. Pressure test the EGR cooler when the intake manifold is off
7. Change the engine oil and filter
8. Flush the cooling system several times using 2 gallons of simple green.
