help with my hcfm removal

I cannot figure for the life of me how to get the electrical clips off. I broke the snap on two of em already. The one to the rear came right off, the one at the drain broke and refuses to come off and the one on the pump, i tried to lift the tab, push down on the tab and pull and nothing worked so far. I do not want to snap the fuel pump pigtail. pics or a video would be helpful. i have searched and searched but i cannot find the video I had.

Well, I got the main harness unplugged but now when i remove the fuel rail from tank to pump it just runs and runs and runs. how do I stop it while changing my pump. I am parked facing down hill. i am not able to move it now. I ended up plugging the line loosely with a vac line plug shoved inside fuel line, but I can't get the last line off on the hcfm to tank return line. any tricks here? I've been hosing it with a straw and brake cleaner the soaking it in pb blaster then trying to prod out any dirt. At least I know my tank pickup line is free flowing.

Ok I got it figured out. The top line is a push button release, no need for the fuel line removal tool.

1. Disconnect main fuel bowl harness forward the pump. With a little sweet talk she'll come right out.
2. Bring out your catch can and release the fuel lines. The front two use the fuel line separator, I believe the back two are push button, I know the top one is(hcfm to tank).
Plug tank to hcfm line, you may not have to but mine kept gravity feeding due to my parking downhill. I used a rubber vacuum plug and wedged it inside the fuel line.
3. unbolt the 3 frame rail bolts, push back your lines and wriggle it to the front of truck and slip it around the front drive shaft if you have one. I did rip the soft lining between the dive shaft and the pump a little, no big deal, fix with black gorilla tape.

Then I found my fuel heater in pieces and a bunch more turd in the drain compartment. I hope this helps the next guy out. It drove me nuts to only be able to work on it 30 minutes at a time due to my hands freezing. Oh and I got diesel soaked every time.

Tough job, I hope you get it whipped. FWIW the current replacements do not have the fuel heater so don't sweat not getting that hooked back up.

truck was running with no power, no codes, did a fuel pressure test after it died in driveway after a filter change and found less than 10 psi. I'm hoping that's all it was.
