i was driving just now and my abs light came on so i pulled over to check everything. as i sat on the side of the road i noticed that the truck sounded funny. kind of had a deep tone. i shut it off and now it wont start. it turns a little while im crankin but clicks like a low battery. also the hum that you get when you first turn the key on (fuel pump maybe?) is alot louder and deeper sounding. please help.

How old are the batteries? Get them load checked ASAP. Probably a good idea to get the alternator checked out as well.

Bet your alternator went out and discharged the batteries. You can have somebody jump you, and leave the cables hooked up for a few minutes to charge the batteries a bit and get you home if you don't need to go far. The other vehicle's electrical system will charge yours enough to limp home.

You need to load test the batteries also. A bad alternator can take out a pair of betteries also. If one battery tests bad, it is best to replace both.
