Here is an odd one!

Guys,

I have a weird one going on and need some help. The other day my outside temperature/miles to empty display started acting weird my temperature was jumping +10 -10 degrees off of what the outside temperature was, at the same time my miles to empty started getting really weird and going +100 -100 over, under actual mileage to empty, now this has turned into another problem. This morning while driving to work all these things were going on and my fuel gauge dropped to empty and low fuel light came on, so I pulled over and put 10 gallons of fuel in the truck and the gauge went all the way to full when in reality it should have been at half. Do you think these two are related? And is it the actual display computer messing them both up or does whatever controls the display send signals to both the fuel gauge and the overhead display. Keep in mind I didn’t have any problems with my fuel gauge until the overhead display acted up. Have not seen this one before all ideas would be appreciated

This is on my 04 F250 cc sb 4x4 auto

Cluster could be going bad? I hear that's a common problem.
