Highway Gas Mileage for f-250 6.0L PSD 4x4.

Okay, I'm going to ask this question I'm thinking about driving my 04 f-250 6.0L psd with a 16 foot flat bed trailer from San Antonio, TX to Spencer Indiana to pick up a truck I just purchased. Map quest says its: 1140 one way or 2280 round trip. I'm trying to guestimate my highway miles per gallon for my truck but don't really have any ideal. Can anyone who makes these kinds of runs give me a "Guestimate" of what Miles per gallon they are getting on a comparable vehicle towing a comparable flat bed? This would really help. Oh and if your going to say higher a transport service, the best rates are running around $800 bucks for door to door service. I'm always open for someone who runs rigs in this route who might want to make a little money.

I just towed my 24 foot TT, about 6500 lbs, from central Texas to Corpus Christi and got between 11 and 12. Keep in mind when I started the trip, I only had about 1200 miles on the truck.

If it was my truck it would take 200 gallons of fuel. Truck and trailer empty, 90 gallon. Truck trailer and truck , 110 gallons. just a reference point for pricing, but I bet I'm within 50 gallons.
