How do you tell if your ABS Module is bad?

After reading through as many posts on the subject I could find here, I'm almost positive my ABS module is bad. ABS light is on, I have no speedo, and I have no power. Truck idle's fine but when I get on the road just no power. I replace the speed sensor in the rear end. Checked the one's on both front wheels for mosture or anything, looked good. Also had a guy try to pull codes from the truck and he said it would'nt commicate with the ABS module. Anybody run into this before? Just hate to buy the part and that not be it. Thanks

The wise thing to do would be to find someone that can scan the ABS system for codes... It is extremely rare to have any need to replace the ABS module.

Not all scan tools are created equal....
