Seems bearing lube is called for at 60K miles. Are there any tricks or special tools required to do this? Can anyone refer me to a step by step explanation?

Also what type of grease?

Thanks Much.

I wonder what the dealer charges to service these bearings?

I just replaced my left hub 101000miles on 04 6.0. 300 deer at advance auto. My advice is to do nothing and replace the whole hub at 100,000 miles. I am going to replace the right hub next week as preventative maint. if you decide to grease the bearing all you need is a 21mm and C clamp pliers. If you are like me I will have my payed off 6.0 until they quit making parts for it. M2 cents.
